Recently I got some interest in generative “art”. Without going into what qualifies as art and what not, here are some of the things I created:
The code generating these images is available on github over here. Try them live, as a couple of these images are from actual animations.
Pretty easy and fun to get stuff like that done thanks to Quil, which builds on top of Processing.
No reason to stop at visuals, though: Overtone is an awesome Clojure library to create sounds and music with the SuperCollider backend.
So, Clojure is great for “serious” software development, no question. However, there is even more to explore like the projects mentioned above. Really cool stuff.
